Midwest General Brokerage was formed on September 1, 1999 when our parent company, R. W. Scobie, Inc. purchased a small book of business from a regional wholesale insurance operation. Armed with only 2 employees, excellent accounting/computer support from our home office, and a handful of solid insurance companies, we ventured into the unknown. The result has been an exponential increase in premium brokered and insurance companies represented.
